Meet the Team
With 20 years experience in the industry, it has long been a dream of mine to create my own workshop.
Originally trained in London by the award winning Toni & Guy, Artistic Team, my expertise in cutting, colouring and Hair up have lead me to win various competitions and be involved in some amazing events. Highlights for me have been consulting on Dyson’s Supersonic Hairdryer and winning Bristol Hairdresser of the year.
I love what I do, from laughing with clients day to day, through to editorial shoots, shows and teaching. Hairdressing is an art form and I take inspiration from all around me… Whether it’s understanding what will suit someone’s colouring and face shape, or creating a winning image, I am passionate about styling and people. This has translated into a very busy clientele and a hand picked team I am truly proud of.
I am now focussing on the business’ media development, expansion and training our next generation of Atelier Stylists- I live between Clifton and the North Coast of Cornwall where my partner & I have undertaken another (!) renovation project. An old barn here, will soon become our second studio in the SW…. I simply love the buzz of the city having grown up in Notting Hill, but in my downtime now- it’s surfing, gardening, and long walks in our stunning surroundings that nurture my soul and inspire my creativity.
I strongly believe that a positive experience can be uplifting and hope that at Atelier we will deliver the service that guests deserve. I’m hugely excited about the future of our business. We hope you will love what Atelier has to offer, and both myself and the team, look forward to welcoming you here for many years to come.
I’m Kat, originally from Devon, I have 16 years experience as a Hairdresser, Manager & Educator. I was brought up around salons as my Mum was a successful Stylist and Business Manager. This no doubt shaped my career aspirations and I have thoroughly enjoyed travelling with my skills and learning continuously, through diversifying within the sector.
I gained incredible insight in the family business in Ireland, then working for a celebrity Stylist in Australia on fashion shows. I also enjoyed a sunny stint in the Caribbean and most recently have been working with trainee Hairdressers starting their career journey.
I would class my style of hairdressing as enhancing natural beauty. I love creating tonal blondes, texture and movement within shapes. I also offer manicures which work well booked in your colour development time.
I am loving working in Clifton, with Ella and her fantastic team. I look forward to meeting you very soon and as the new General Manager, ensuring that your experience at Atelier always delivers.
Front of House + Junior Stylist
I am the Front of House Manager here at Atelier and I look forward to welcoming you to the salon. I am also a Hairdresser and have recently moved back to the UK, after living in Western Australia for the last 5 years.
I come from an artistic background which I like to incorporate into my hairdressing. I love building connections with clients and helping them express their personalities, through their appearance. I am also a keen photographer and will be capturing content in the salon for our Social Media platforms. I’m now taking clients for colour, cutting and extensions on Mondays and Tuesdays.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me painting murals, or cycling my way around the beautiful South-West.
Originally from Latvia, I moved to London 20 years ago where I trained. Clients always said they appreciated my honesty, ability to listen, my creativity and passion, which allowed me to attract a fantastic clientele, both local and international.
I always have been fascinated by beauty, in all forms, and have been proud to work in this field, with the ability to help people to feel more confident. I am thrilled when clients leave the salon happy with my work, it is the best reward for me.
I have an appreciation for quality and detail, this naturally reflects in my work and anything I do. My forte is creative colouring, from sophisticated natural blends to heavy balayage and I enjoy creating glamorous blow dries to showcase. I also hope to soon offer my skills as an MUA at Atelier for Brides and special occasions, so watch this space!
In my spare time, I enjoy walking and get inspired by nature, which reflects in my painting. I enjoy reading spiritual books and regular training keeps me fit, energised and full of lust for life and my career.
During my 20+ Hairdressing career, I have been fortunate enough to work in some leading UK hair salons, and on exciting projects within the Fashion, Film & Music Industry.
I have developed my skills across truly inspirational events, with iconic artists and designers; from Fashion Weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris working with the likes of Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga, to music videos with Kylie Minogue, Jamiroquai and Primal Scream, to name a few.
After living the London scene and a thrilling stint travelling the world for shows, I am excited to be re-locating to Bristol, collaborating with Ella and her fantastic team of Artists at Atelier.
Hi I’m Henry, I have worked in the industry since 2005 for some of the leading Haircare brands.
Although accomplished in all aspects of Hairdressing, I have a real passion for colouring. I enjoy new challenges and find helping people incredibly rewarding.
I have worked alongside Ella from day one, and am really proud of the talented, professional team we have built at Atelier. The atmosphere here is creative and fun, which makes it a wonderful place to work, and even better to be a guest.
I have loved Fashion from a young age and think people should celebrate their individuality. Outside the salon, I love nothing more than walking my two beautiful Bulldogs in the great outdoors. I am an avid reader, online skincare expert and love cooking for friends and family.
If you book an appointment with me, you are guaranteed an immaculate set of highlights, a wow worthy blow dry and always entertainment!
Hi, I’m Cody, one of Ateliers homegrown stylists.
I am so happy to be working at Atelier. After watching the team throughout my training I am so happy to finally be building my own clientele! Working alongside such talented people I take a lot of pride in my work, and ensure you leave happy with your hair. I specialise in Kerastraightening and will soon be offering extensions.
Hi, I’m Lucy. I’m an Apprentice here at Atelier.
I started working here whilst studying for my GCSEs on a Saturday and Wednesday night. I quickly fell in love with the industry, atmosphere in the salon, my inspiring colleagues and lovely clients. This job has enhanced my passion for hairdressing and driven me to want to succeed in an apprenticeship. I have always enjoyed hair styling and recently started creating video tutorials online.
I’m friendly, approachable and love a good chat, so if you see me around the salon, I’m happy to help in anyway to ensure enjoyment and relaxation during your time at Atelier.
I’m the newest member of the team having just left school. I am really enjoying learning from the team and meeting all the regular clients, who are lovely.
