How do I book?
You can book online – simply register here and liaise with your diary at your leisure. Please note a 25% deposit is payable on all online bookings. Our cancellation policy is strictly 48 hours notice by phone call or email.
What if I need advice prior to booking?
Simply drop us an email with your query. We endeavour to respond within 48 hours. We advise booking a complimentary consultation prior to colour services to discuss options and quote accurately.
We LOVE clients who attend with a clear idea of what they want, so feel free to bring images or collate a Pinterest board – this assists with a productive consultation. If you are less decisive, we can gently guide you with your style. Sometimes the most show-stopping restyles are unplanned !? We enjoy the process of transformation, and our superpower is vision – so keep an open mind and your feedback will always be the key factor.
I have had my hair coloured for years, can I skip the skin test?
Sadly no, it is a legal requirement to sensitivity check all new Customers as products differ in content. If you have not had a colour application for a period of 6 months or longer, you will need a ‘top up’ test prior to attending.
Sensitivity can fluctuate for many reasons ; pregnancy is a common factor for example. We are responsible Professionals and this protocol ensures your safety & comfort. A skin test takes 5 minutes and can be performed by any of our team. A signed record is kept by us, for reference.
Where can I park?
There are Pay & Display parking bays all around Clifton. It is a busy village so please ensure you allow enough time to park prior to arrival. We highly recommend downloading the RingGo App to manage your stay.
I am running late, what should I do?
Please call us to notify. We have a cut off period of 20 minutes for lateness. This is because we do not believe in rushing guests’ experience or compromising quality. Our business is run to strict timeframes ; simply put, a 20 minute delay or more then has a significant knock-on effect for all following appointments.
I can’t attend my appointment, what should I do?
Please email, or call us within 48 hours or more of your scheduled booking. We have high demand for appointments and last minute cancellations mean we can’t accommodate others and also affects our Stylists’ livelihoods.
Voicemails are perfectly acceptable notification. If you are cancelling please note we will not automatically respond. If you wish to re-book, please outline your availability clearly, in this instance we will contact you for confirmation.
*Online bookings can be managed, but cancellations will need to be actioned by call and deposits will not be automatically refunded. Refunds will only be applicable if notification is outside 48 hours of your booking. These are solely at the business’ Owner’s discretion and may take up to 2 weeks to process, or the credit may be rolled on to a re-allocated booking.
Who should I book with?
Please peruse our team page. Our experts range in experience, all fantastic, some with signature flair. Please note Ella takes on a limited amount of new clients, but will happily give you an initial consultation and personalised recommendation for your most suited Stylist.
Do you offer fringe trims?
Yes – they need to be booked as a rule, and are chargeable at £5
Do you offer children's haircuts?
We ask you politely to consider childcare for your hair appointments, so we may work efficiently and ensure a tranquil experience for all our valued guests. We offer haircuts from 16+.
Do you have Wifi so I can work from Atelier?
We do indeed, just ask one of the team for our password in salon. We are happy for you to multitask whilst we create – so just let us know if you prefer less chit chat and need to knuckle down- silence is golden.
Do you offer beauty treatments?
We have a cool subterranean Spa on our lower ground floor and currently offer gel manicures, pedicures and Vita Liberata organic spray tans.

Do you offer wedding hair?
Yes we have a few dedicated editorial Stylists and an MUA who specialise in Bridal.

Ella will come back to you with a proposed trial date (we can synchronise these so you get a real feel for hair & make up in context).
Demand for appointments is high so we kindly ask you to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit, to secure your date.
We also offer organic spray tanning and Balmain extensions which have both proved very popular with our Brides..

Do you offer discounted services if I have a budget?
Yes, we offer training sessions with our Junior Stylists every Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm.
These can be booked by emailing us and clearly outlining what services you require. Colour is discounted by 25% and a ladies cut and finish is £30, mens haircut £15.
Please consider these sessions are educational. There will be input from Trainers and the Students understandably take longer than Senior Stylists, due to their level of experience.
These sessions are fun and informative with all the Atelier signature touches still included.
Do you offer discounts for students, NHS etc?
Certainly, we extend 10% off cutting services with all levels (on presentation of ID at reception) for the following:
Local village traders
Our loyalty cards bestow fantastic rewards, with a full card eligible for a free product of your choice.
Ask your Stylist to sign you up and please present at every checkout.
Do you offer wet cuts/dry cuts only?
We only offer full wash, cut & blow drys. Cuts need to be checked after finishing to ensure
accuracy and a professional finish will always best show case your new look.
I have allergies to certain product ingredients, can I use my own hair products ie shampoo & conditioner?
We can offer Organic and calming treatments from our own ranges ; however if this is important to you, we will always prioritise your comfort and peace of mind.

Absolutely – and both of you benefit ; 25% off your next cut and blow dry and 25% off the first visit for your buddy. Just let us know at checkout the full name of the customer who recommended you, we will do the rest.
Do you sell Gift vouchers?
Yes, we offer beautiful gift certificates that can be tailored to your budget or a specific service.
We can post these directly to recipients for an additional £5 charge, and can accept payment over the phone.
We can also supply e-vouchers as an alternative, with a brief personalised message (if you have a tight timeframe to deliver). These are available in £25, £50, £100 values. Simply email us outlining what suits you best.
